Tinnitus Control
Away from general fitness, I thought I would just write this post in response to two recent emails I received regarding the medical condition that seems to becoming more prevalent in recent years. So, if it affects my subscribers, then I guess i should write about it eh! The answer could be Tinnitus Control.
I would guess that many gym goers suffer from tinnitus, due to the forces that are exacted on their bodies during regular workout. i.e. the build up of pressure within the blood vessels. Whilst there is no proof of this everywhere, it is an interesting consideration. Personally i have been exercising for over twenty years, but have never suffered any problems with ear ringing, so this is definitely not something that i have experienced. However, we are all different, so i understand that just because it hasn't happened to me doesn't mean it won't happen to others!
As far as i can see, there is no cure for tinnitus, with some people using white noise to help drown out the ringing. But one possible solution is Tinnitus Control, a homeopathic remedy which it seems has been around for about ten years now. As with everything, caution should be used when assessing any new treatment, but i think this is certainly worth taking a look at if all other options have failed.
